DIY: Christmas Adult Party Favors Your Guests will LOVE!
‘Tis the season of giving! And parties! But parties can get expensive! Here are four great easy and inexpensive Adult Holiday Party Favors you can do for your next holiday party!!!! Or if you are like me and are active in networking events, these are perfect for “swag” bags or to promote your business during the holiday season too! Let’s get started!
Hot Chocolate!
I am not a fan of coffee, but I love hot chocolate! So I started looking into how I could give someone a hot chocolate “experience”! When creating these Adult Holiday Party Favors I wanted something that would not be thrown away or wasted. If I am taking the time and spending money to make them, I want them to be something useful and more importantly, something people want!
Supplies
- Nestle Nesquik Chocolate Powder
- Rubber Bands
- Mini Marshmallows
- Glue Dots
- Festive Ribbon
- Scissors
- Funnel
- Mini Candy Canes
- Small Tubes with Lids. I bought mine from Amazon, of course!
Assembly
- The tubes I used held 4 tbsp of Nestle Nesquik. That makes 2 servings of hot chocolate. I used a funnel to easily fill each of the tubes!
- Next I filled another tube with mini marshmallows and chopped pieces of candy cane!
- Once all my tubes were filled (I had 25 of each) I took one of each tube (hot choco/marshmallows) and used a rubber band to secure them together!
- I then took the Glue Dots (which were awesome to work with!) and used them to secure pieces of ribbon around the rubber bands and also to secure the cute holly leaves as an extra decorative touch!
- Lastly, secure a cute holiday tag to the finished product! Get FREE holiday tags you can print out yourself, HERE!
Holiday Stemless Glass filled with Candy!
I found cute holiday themed glasses at my local grocery store for only $1 each! So I bought a bunch and filled them with York Peppermint Patties! (Or your favorite holiday candy!) I then placed each glass into a cute organza bag to make it a little more decorative! Finish off with ribbon or a gift tag! It doesn’t get much easier than that!
Winter Gloves filled with Hot Chocolate Goodies!
I purchased a dozen pair of gloves via Amazon for this party favor. And I made sure they were touchscreen friendly! With sales tax, the 12 pair were only $17. A great value!
I used one of the gloves as a “goodie” bag and filled it with a packet of Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate, candy canes and peppermint patties! I then wrapped a decorative ribbon to secure the top and added a gift tag!
Another super easy and fun Adult Holiday Party Flavor!
Stove Top Potpourri Bag!
This is a cute idea I got from Liz on Call! And I love it! I filled a 5×7 inch organza bag with the following:
- 2 tbsp whole cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1/4 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 whole orange
I placed the orange in the bag first, then added the additional ingredients! Add the cute tag on how to assemble your fabulous holiday potpourri and you’re done!
Conclusion
I hope you enjoy making these party favors as much as I did! Simple, easy and affordable!
More importantly, thank you for spending your time here at Colorado Kelly! I love having you here and appreciate everyone that comes to visit and look forward to having you come back soon!
