Monat added another product to their skin care line.  It is an alternative to Retinol A.  I have been using the Botanic Bakuchiol Lotion for over a month.  And I have to admit, I am very impressed. But, lets start from the beginning as I give you my Botanic Bakuchiol review!

Before…

This before picture was taken at the end of December.  I have deep “crow’s feet” around my eyes.  And I have used several products that have helped with reducing puffiness and under eye circles, nothing ever really helped with reducing the depth of the lines themselves.  Except Botox, but I am working on moving away from all things that have toxic chemicals.  And I stopped having Botox injections around my eyes years ago.  So this is a-la-natural!

After…

Here is my after picture.  As you can see, the “deepness” of my “laugh lines” has been reduced significantly.  I started seeing results after two weeks.  I have not had the same results with the age spots, but I think that will take longer to see a noticeable difference.  But I am VERY impressed by the wrinkle reduction results!  So I am giving it FIVE STARS for those results!  Both pictures have no filters and other than mascara, I have no make up on.

 

My Routine

While using the Botamnic Bakuchiol Lotion I have also been incorporating the Gentle Cleanser, Skin Revitalizing Essence, Night Haven Cream and the SPF 30 Sun Veil.  Before bed I wash my face with the Gentle Cleanser and apply the Skin Revitalizing Essence with a cotton pad.  Then I apply the Botanic Bakuchiol Lotion.  Most evenings I apply the Night Haven Cream, especially with the extremely dry winter we are having.  But I believe I will be putting that on the shelf again when spring and summer are here.

Knowing that all the products are vegan and cruelty free makes the fact that these products do really work, even better.
