Grilling season is year round in Colorado.  At least in my opinion! Our grill is always ready to go no matter the weather!  After weekly snow storms for the first two and half months of the year, the 70 degree forecast for the next several days is a wonderful change!  So I will be getting my patio ready for the spring weather and the grill fired up. So lets take a look at the Best Burger Topping Ideas!

There is a huge selection of burger toppings.  Some are “basic” and others are a little more “fancy” or not typical.  Here is a good list of items that you can add to your burger!

Another item that has a large variety to choose from is bun flavors and types!  We have done everything from toasted thick sliced sour dough to Hawaiian rolls!  There is no wrong variety!  Here are some different buns to try!

This is a personal list of our Best Burger Toppings and Combinations.  I am sure there are hundreds if not thousands of combinations out there, but here are some of our favorites!

1. Bacon, BBQ Sauce and either grilled onions or French’s Onions for some extra crunch!
2. Buffalo Sauce, Blue Cheese Crumbles, Sliced Tomato and Onion
3. Pineapple, Bacon and Teriyaki Sauce
4. Onion Jam and White Cheddar Cheese
5. Guacamole, Bacon, Swiss Cheese and Onions
6. Chipotle Aioli, Lettuce, Sliced Tomato and Avocado with Swiss Cheese
7. Russian Dressing, Sauerkraut and Swiss Cheese
8. Mushrooms, Swiss Cheese and Grilled Onions
9. Berry Pepper Jam, Warm Brie and Apple Slices
10. Apricot Jam and Warm Brie
11. Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, Marinara and Fresh Basil
12. Chili, Shredded Cheddar and Grilled Onions
13. And of course, burgers Martha Stewart Style!

Stovetop Burgers

I am not a fan of stove top burgers.  Personally, I would rather have them grilled or cooked under a broiler.  I have also used and loved during the winter, a smokeless grill.  It was very easy to use and clean!  But everyone is different and you do what you love best!
