I am and always have been a “fashionista”.  For as long as I can remember I have loved clothes, shoes and everything in between.  But over the last several years I have found that I need to try clothes on and purchasing online didn’t always work out well for me.  Then I was introduced to Closet Candy, a trendy online women’s boutique that I LOVE! Clothes that Fit My Body Style

I am not a “petite” girl.  I don’t consider myself severely over weight, although some pictures would dispute that!  So when I was introduced to Closet Candy, I was skeptical that the clothes would work for me.  Especially considering the price point.  I have found that reasonably priced clothing usually runs small or is not good quality.  I can assure you, that is not the case with Closet Candy!

How do Closet Candy Boutique Clothes Fit?

When I shop for clothes, I am normally a size 12.  Sometimes a 14 depending on the size.  And t-shirts or sweaters, I will choose a large or an extra large if I want extra room.  I am very self conscious of my mid-section.  It is what I consider my problem area!

My daughter is a size 10 and has a beautiful curvy figure.  She has been purchasing a size M and has not had any issues.  The cami’s she has purchased did need to be in a large, but she is a 34 DD so she needs a little more room up top!

So when I started looking at Closet Candy, I noticed there were some extended sizes, but not a lot.  Which always makes me nervous!  However, my friend Danielle insisted that the clothes are true to size or a little big.

So my first order was a pair of sunglasses and a cute cold shoulder sweater in large.  I decided to do a “test” order to see if the quality and fit were what I expected.  But more importantly, was there value in what I purchased!  And she was right, The clothing was true to size or a little big.  Which I love!

Jeans from Closet Candy Boutique:  I got my first pair of jeans this week and they were awesome! I am normally a size 12 in jeans and I purchased a size 13.  And they fit great, the material was a “jean” material too.  I am not a fan of stretchy “jegging” material.  So for me, they were perfect!

The Quality of Closet Candy Boutique Clothes

I have not ordered any jeans, yet.  The didn’t have the cut I liked available in my size at the time of this post.  But I have ordered about 12 different tops.  Including graphic tees, sweaters and cami’s.  I figured I would start with tops and move on to jeans when my size became available.  That is, if I liked what I had already ordered.

And so far I have loved everything I ordered.  And Danielle was right, everything is true to size or runs on the bigger side.  I have only had to return two items, and it wasn’t because they didn’t fit, it was that they looked “short” on me.  I am long waisted and have big boobies!  So some tops that aren’t meant to be worn long, will pull up and make me uncomfortable.  Because you know, my problem area, the mid-section.  So the shirts fit, I was just too self conscious to keep them.

As for the quality, I loved the fabrics!  They are soft and durable.  Now I haven’t washed everything I have bought so far, but what I have, has come out beautifully!

Accessories

Closet Candy also has a vast selection of shoes, jewelry and belts!  This is truly a one stop shopping experience!  I purchased the sunglasses in the picture above for $18.99.  And they are super cute!  Once I get my shoes and belts, I can give you more details!  But I am sure they will be just as nice as everything else!!!

Does Closet Candy Boutique Offer Free Shipping? YES, All the Time!

I hate paying shipping charges!  At Closet Candy, you never have to pay shipping charges!  Even on one item! All packages have tracking labels and you have the option to insure the package, but normal shipping is always FREE!

Closet Candy Boutique Return Policy

The return policy is 30 days.  All tags attached, no stains or obvious signs of wearing. Which I consider normal and acceptable as a return policy.

If there is a problem with your order when it arrives, such as damaged or the order was incorrect, then you have three days from the date of receipt to call and discuss the issue so it can be corrected!

My Overall Review of this Online Boutique

I have to be honest, I love the clothes and as I sometimes struggle to find things that compliment my figure, it has been refreshing to find pieces that work well.  Without having to try them on first! However, note that it is sometimes difficult to get the items you want because they are out of stock.  Very frustrating!  And sale items are FINAL SALE.  So be sure it is something you want before you buy if it is on sale!
