Homemade Italian Meatballs
As everyone probably knows by now, I love to cook! Some recipes I create myself, some are a combination of several recipes. This homemade Italian Meatball recipe happens to be a recipe I came up with on my own! It is fast, easy and delicious! It makes approximately 18-24 meatballs. Golf ball size. And they are delicious! My husband actually made the sauce to go with the batch I made for this post. But feel free to use jar, canned or make your own sauce! They are good no matter what you pt with them! Enjoy!
Ingredients
2 lbs fresh ground beef (I always use lean ground beef)
1 small yellow onion
1/2 cup bread crumbs
3 eggs
2 tsp crushed garlic
1 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
2 tbls Shredded Parmesan
Salt/Pepper to taste (I use freshly ground sea salt and pepper)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line large shallow baking pan with tin foil or parchment paper.
Mix all ingredients together until all ingredients are thoroughly distributed. Make golf ball size balls and place on the lined baking dish. Bake for approximately 30 minutes until completely cooked. If you like you can cook for 20 minutes in the oven, then place in sauce and finish cooking. Either approach is delicious!
Need a commercial grade baking pan? This one is great and it also comes with a silicone baking mat! Purchase HERE from AMAZON!
