Hotel Jerome, Aspen
The Hotel Jerome is a famous hotel in Aspen, Colorado. Built in 1889, this Auberge Resort is in the heart of downtown Aspen. It is steeped rich in history as well as luxury! The Hotel Jerome is located at 330 E Main Street, Aspen, CO. Newly renovated with contemporary luxury and historic heritage, Hotel Jerome is a must when staying in Aspen! It has been several years since Shane and I have stayed at The Hotel Jerome, however, the memories are fabulous and abundant!
Accommodations
The Deluxe rooms are well appointed, luxurious and receive maid service twice, everyday. The bathrooms having soaking tubs to relax after long days of hiking or skiing! And a separate shower to get ready for an evening out!
Amenities
With an on site spa, restaurant and pool, The Hotel Jerome has everything you need on site. It is also a superb place for a destination wedding! With beautiful views and gardens in the summer, it is a stunning backdrop for any bridal party.
The slopes are only a 10 minute walk from the hotel and the hotel provides complimentary WiFi! So if you must work, you can! And there are boutiques, restaurants and activities galore all year long! All within walking distance. So you can park your car and forget it!
Activities
Between Aspen and Snowmass Village there are over 100 top notch restaurants! There is also every winter activity you can think of available, however, here are some suggestions!
- Snow Shoeing (a personal favorite of mine!)
- Snow Cat Tours and Dinners
- An Alpine Coaster
- Snow Tubing
- Of course, skiing
- and so much more!
Summer activities are abundant too!
- Biking

- Hiking

- Tons of arts and culture activities too!
Maroon Bells
Maroon Bells is one of the most photographed areas in the world. The bells are 14er’s that get hiked regularly. It is not an easy climb though. Getting to the top of these 14er’s is a bit tricky and it is suggested that only seasoned climbers take the hike to the top. But fear not, there is a short walk to a lake at the base of the bells. It is beautiful and amazing. And there are short and friendly hiking paths all around the lake for novice and families. It is both breathtaking and amazing. Definitely one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited!
Conclusion
I cannot say enough about the times we have visited The Hotel Jerome. It has amazing service and is very luxurious. And the best thing about this hotel? If you are a Colorado resident, you get special reduced rates! Of course, be prepared to prove you are a resident when you check in, but the rates are AMAZING!!!
