Ingredients
1BoxPenne or Ziti Pasta Shells
3-4piecesCooked chicken breast, shredded*I purchased a cooked chicken from the grocery store to make it easier!
1HeadRomaine Lettuce
2BottlesCaesar Dressing*I use Brianna's Home Style Dressing. They are 12 oz bottles.
1quart basketCherry Tomatoes
To TasteGround Black Pepper
1/2cupShredded Parmesan Cheese*keep extra to garnish
Instructions
Cook pasta according to the package.
Slice all cherry tomatoes in half. Chop Romaine lettuce, I used 3/4 of a small head of lettuce.
Once pasta has cooked, drain and rinse with cool water. Combine with half a bottle of the Caesar dressing and mix well. This will prevent the pasta from sticking together. Let the pasta cool for about 30 minutes before adding additional ingredients.
Once pasta has cooled, combine the shredded chicken, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese and remaining Caesar dressing. Mix thoroughly and sprinkle with additional shredded Parmesan cheese.
Serve and enjoy! I cool mine in the refrigerator for a couple hours before serving. But we have been known to eat it warm too!
