Sheet Pan Steak Fajita Bowl Recipe

This easy dinner recipe will be on the table in less than hour! From start to finish! And your family will love it!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Flank Steak
  • 3/4 cup Mexican Inspired Carne Asada Steak Sauce/Marinade
  • 1 Medium Red Onion, Sliced
  • 2 Bell Peppers, Sliced (1 each, Red and Green)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 cups Brown Rice, cooked
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Cilantro
  • 2 limes Cut into Wedges
  • 1/2 cup Feta Cheese Crumble *optional garnishment
  • Guacamole, Sour Cream, Salsa *optional garnishment

Instructions

  • Place flank steak in a zip lock bag and pour the marinade over it. Zip and refrigerate for 2-24 hours. Remove steak from refrigerator 30 minutes prior to cooking.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Slice the onion and peppers.

  • Then place in a bowl and add olive oil, cumin, chili powder and salt. Mix until all slices are evenly coated with olive oil and seasonings!

  • Place on baking sheet and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Once you have started the cooking process of your veggies, place the broiler on high. Push all the onion and pepper slices to one side of the baking sheet. Remove the steak from the marinade and place on the baking sheet.

  • Broil for 5 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove from oven and let the steak rest for 5 minutes.
  • Thinly slice the steak against the grain.
  • Toss cooked brown rice with juice from lime wedges and fresh cilantro leaves.
  • Place rice on the bottom then top with steak slices and onions, peppers! Garnish with guacamole, sour cream and salsa if desired! Then enjoy!
