This French inspired dish is beef stew with a twist! With tender meat and veggies and a rich red wine base, it is delectable! Perfect for a cold winter night!

3lbsBoneless Beef Chuck cut into 1 inch cubes
1/4cupFlour*I used gluten free cup for cup flour
8slicesFinely Chopped, Cooked Bacon*use precooked bacon to save time!
1/2cupChopped Yellow Onion
1tbspSugar
3tbspMinced Garlic
1 1/2cupsCarrots, peeled and chopped carrots
1tbspThyme
8ozSliced Mushrooms
1poundBaby Potatoes, cut in half
1tbspWilliams-Sonoma Veal Demi Glace*optional
1/2cupRed Cooking Wine Vinegar
2cupsChicken Broth
1/2cupTomato Sauce
1/4cupCoconut Aminos*replacement for soy sauce, less sodium and tastes the same!
1Slow Cooker Liner
Instructions
Be sure to place your slow cooker liner in to reduce clean up! After cubing the beef, coat in flour and place in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add remaining DRY ingredients.
Add all liquid ingredients and stir until blended. Cover and set slow cooker for 6 hours on low.
Then enjoy!!! I served mine with buttermilk biscuits!
